I have two favorite memories.
One memory I'll never be able to top is Soren and I sitting at the bar in Madison drinking Spotted Cows.
When I look back I wish that hour or so could go on forever.
The second one was meeting James Lee Burke at Vegas. I introduced myself as Cletus. He froze. Looked me up and down and started laugh, "You know boy, you could be." He sat down in my book dealers booth and proceeded to sign almost 80 books. The whole time we were laughing and joking. He was everything I hoped he would be.
I'M ALREADY LOSING SLEEP OVER BALTIMORE!
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!
